Several districts/cities in North Sulawesi province still record quite low vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Bolaang Mongondow Regency, Sangihe Islands Regency, and South Bolaang Mongondow Regency.
As of Sunday, October 17, 2021, these three regencies had only completed 104,380 doses of the first vaccine shot out of the targeted 361,070 vaccine recipients.
Bolaang Mongondow Regency is ranked first (lowest). As of yesterday, this region only recorded a 24.99% vaccination rate, the lowest among the other 15 districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 194,830 participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 1,105 participants. The available vaccine stock is 18,468 doses.
Next is Sangihe Islands Regency, ranked second lowest. With a target of 113,630 vaccine recipients, only 33.32% or 37,867 participants have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 371 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 13,722 doses.
South Bolaang Mongondow Regency is ranked third lowest. With a target of 52,609 vaccine recipients, only 33.86% or 17,812 participants have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 168 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 15,226 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in North Sulawesi has reached 52.61%, covering 1,090,000 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 30.09%, covering 626,080 vaccine recipients.
