The top five districts/cities with agglomeration population deaths due to Covid-19 exceeding 0.35 per 100,000 population per week are Tanah Bumbu, Singkawang City, North Hulu Sungai, Tegal City, and Binjai City, with values of 0.49, 0.43, 0.42, 0.40, and 0.35 per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration population death rate due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. Ten districts/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration population death rate due to Covid-19 than before, while three districts/cities recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration population death rate due to Covid-19 include Tanah Bumbu, Singkawang City, and North Hulu Sungai, with rates of 0.49, 0.43, and 0.42 per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
