Several districts/cities in West Java province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Bandung Regency, Subang Regency, and Ciamis Regency.
As of Sunday, January 30, 2022, these three regencies had only completed 3.57 million doses of the first vaccine shot out of the targeted 5.08 million vaccine recipients.
Bandung Regency is ranked first among the lowest. As of yesterday, this region has completed 68.77% of its vaccination program. This is the lowest rate compared to the other 27 districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 2.8 million participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 13,782 participants. The available stock is 336,350 vaccine doses.
Next is Subang Regency, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 1.29 million participants, vaccination in this region has reached 72.27%, or 928,780 participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 3,504 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 181,660 doses.
Following is Ciamis Regency, ranked third lowest. With a vaccination target of 998,030 participants, vaccination in this region has reached 72.48%, or 723,350 participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 3,522 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 95,417 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in West Java has reached 86.55%, covering 32.81 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 57.72%, covering 21.88 million vaccine recipients.
