Today's COVID-19 Provincial Data Update: Jakarta Records Highest Increase (Tuesday, July 5, 2022)

Indonesia today recorded 2,577 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 6.1 million as of Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The five provinces with the highest number of new cases today are DKI Jakarta, West Java, Banten, East Java, and Bali.

Here is the breakdown of the highest number of new Covid-19 cases by province today

1. DKI Jakarta recorded 1,276 new cases

DKI Jakarta is ranked first. The increase in cases is recorded at 1,276 cases, or a 0.1 percent increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which has reached 1.27 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in DKI Jakarta is now 1.27 million.

2. West Java recorded 555 new cases

3. Banten recorded 324 new cases
