The burden of treating chronic diseases paid through the National Health Insurance (JKN) program managed by BPJS Kesehatan is increasing.

However, the government will strive to improve health promotion and preventive measures to improve the quality of life of the public and reduce the burden on BPJS Kesehatan.

That's why we want to really focus on promotive and preventive measures for these three things," said Budi at a meeting with the House of Representatives Commission IX on Wednesday (11/2/2026).
