Number of Doctors in 38 Provinces of Indonesia at the End of 2024

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), there were 207,174 medical personnel/doctors in Indonesia at the end of 2024.

This figure is a combination of the number of general practitioners, dentists, specialist doctors, and specialist dentists recognized by the government.

At the end of 2024, the highest number of medical personnel/doctors was in West Java, while the lowest was in Highland Papua.
