Several districts/cities in Bangka Belitung Islands Province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include South Bangka Regency, Bangka Regency, and Central Bangka Regency.
As of Monday, October 11, 2021, these three regencies had only completed 254,920 first doses of the vaccine, out of a target of 564,390 vaccine recipients.
South Bangka Regency has the lowest vaccination rate. As of yesterday, this region only recorded a 36.95% vaccination rate, the lowest among the seven districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 155,950 participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 1,155 participants. The available vaccine stock is 35,644 doses.
Next is Bangka Regency, which has the second-lowest vaccination rate. With a target of 255,160 vaccine recipients, only 44.98% or 114,770 recipients have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 1,913 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 68,096 doses.
Central Bangka Regency is third. With a target of 153,280 vaccine recipients, only 53.84% or 82,532 recipients have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 1,652 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 10,554 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Bangka Belitung Islands Province has reached 54.04%, covering 614,890 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 29.21%, covering 332,360 vaccine recipients.
