A Snapcart poll reveals that 43% of Indonesian respondents consume fitness supplements.
Snapcart's Sales Executive, Liza Amelia, stated that this figure aligns with the low number of Indonesians who are still reluctant to consume supplements.
"Despite increasing physical activity, many Indonesians are still hesitant to consume fitness supplements," Liza said in a written statement on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Of this group, 35% consume fitness supplements daily.
Others consume fitness supplements 2-4 times a week (33%), once a week (19%), 2-3 times a month (9%).
Meanwhile, 3% of respondents consume them only once a month, and 2% are unsure of their consumption frequency.
"These figures highlight a lack of consistency and perhaps the need for better education regarding supplement routines," Snapcart wrote in its report titled *Boost Your Strength: Part 1*.
The survey also recorded that 34% of respondents consume fitness supplements to build or increase muscle mass.
Other reasons include weight loss (23%), increased energy during exercise (21%), and general health maintenance (13%).
Snapcart conducted this online survey in May 2025, targeting 1,212 respondents across Indonesia.
