The free health check program (CKG) launched by President Prabowo Subianto has been allocated a budget of Rp3.4 trillion (approximately US$226 million) in 2025.
This budget is channeled through the Ministry of Health (Rp2.2 trillion or approximately US$146 million) and transferred to regional governments (Rp1.2 trillion or approximately US$80 million).
"Since its launch by President Prabowo on February 10, 2025, until March 6, 2025, 415,211 people across Indonesia have had free health check-ups through 8,885 community health centers (Puskesmas) using the CKG program," wrote Finance Minister Sri Mulyani on her official Instagram account on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
Specifically, the CKG program benefited the most adults aged 40-59 years, with a total of 142,897 people. This was followed by adults aged 30-39 years (112,442 people) and those aged 18-29 years (74,415 people).
In addition, the CKG program also reached 44,364 elderly people, 25,715 toddlers and preschool children, and 15,599 newborns.
The CKG program can be accessed at Puskesmas or primary healthcare facilities cooperating with BPJS Kesehatan (Indonesia's national health insurance program) and includes three main services:
* CKG services on birthdays for babies and children up to 6 years old, and adults over 18 years old.
* CKG services at schools for children aged 7-17 years at the beginning of each school year.
* Routine CKG services for pregnant women and children up to 6 years old.
