The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.14 per 100,000 population per week, are Tarakan City, Ngawi, Balikpapan City, Magelang, and Purworejo, with respective rates of 0.37, 0.24, 0.15, 0.15, and 0.14 per 100,000 population per week.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. Ten districts/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while one district/city recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include Tarakan City, Balikpapan City, and Tabanan, with respective rates of 0.37, 0.15, and 0.02 per 100,000 population per week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
