The Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force reported that only 5 regencies/cities in Indonesia remained in the red zone, or had a high level of coronavirus risk, from August 30 to September 5, 2021. This is a decrease of 10 areas from the previous week, which had 15 cities/regencies.
Based on the Covid-19 Task Force report, the Java-Bali region has been cleared of the red zone. The five areas still having a high level of coronavirus risk are from Central Sulawesi, Papua, and Aceh.

Meanwhile, the number of regencies/cities in the orange zone decreased by 113 to 181 areas. The previous week, 294 regencies/cities had a moderate level of coronavirus risk.
Conversely, the number of regencies/cities with a low level of coronavirus risk increased by 123 to 327 areas. From September 23-29, 2021, there were 204 regencies/cities in the yellow zone.
Furthermore, the number of regencies/cities in the green zone due to having no new cases remained at one area. Meanwhile, there were no regencies/cities in Indonesia in the green zone due to being unaffected by coronavirus.
The government urges the public to diligently implement the 3M health protocols to suppress the spread of the coronavirus. These protocols consist of wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap.
