Today, Thursday (August 19th), the first phase of vaccination coverage in North Sumatra province has reached 19.04 percent. This figure includes vaccinations for 2.17 million people out of the targeted 11.42 million. Meanwhile, the second phase of vaccination, as of yesterday, has reached 12.08 percent of the target.
Details are as follows: for health workers, with a target of 71,060 people. In phase 1, vaccinations reached 71,060 people (109.29 percent of the target), and for phase 2 vaccinations reached 101.14 percent, or 71,870 people were vaccinated.
For public service personnel, with a target of 879,800 people. The vaccination rate in phase 1 is reported to have reached 1.32 million people (150.3 percent of the target), and for phase 2 vaccinations reached 99.23 percent, or 873,010 people were successfully vaccinated.
For elderly vaccinations, as of today, Thursday (August 19th), out of a target of 1.09 million people, phase 1 vaccinations are reported to have reached 219,180 people (20.05 percent of the target). For the second phase of vaccination, only 15.02 percent has been achieved, or 164,290 people have been vaccinated.
The third phase of vaccination targets vulnerable members of the general public. Those prioritized are recorded as 7.79 million people. In phase 1, vaccinations are reported to have reached 525,330 people (6.63 percent of the target). For the second phase of vaccination, only 3.24 percent has been achieved, or 254,780 people have been vaccinated.
Another target for phase three is the adolescent group aged 12-17 years. In this region, the target set is 1.59 million people. The latest data updated yesterday shows that phase 1 vaccinations have reached 30,250 people (1.91 percent of the target). For the second phase of vaccination, only 1 percent has been achieved, or 15,860 people have been vaccinated.
