The top five, starting from the highest, are Fakfak, Kudus, West Lombok, Kulon Progo, and Karimun, with 990, 978, 956, 947, and 946 tests per week respectively.
Fakfak ranks first. With a population of 82,512, the number of people tested in the last week was 990 per week. The latest positive rate is 0.1 percent, lower than the previous week's ratio.
Next is Kudus. The region's population is recorded at 893,350. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, 978 people were tested per week. The positive rate in this region is 0.2 percent, higher than the previous week's ratio.
Then, West Lombok recorded 956 tests per week, Kulon Progo 947, and Karimun 946.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on a recapitulation of national Covid data, 233 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of people tested daily in the last week compared to the previous week.
