2022/2023 Champions League Top Scorers List: Erling Haaland Tops the Chart

Manchester City's star striker, Erling Haaland, won the Champions League top scorer award for the 2022-2023 season.

The 2022/23 Champions League final concluded on Sunday, June 11, 2023, with Manchester City emerging victorious after defeating Inter Milan 1-0.

However, Haaland did not score in the match; Rodri scored the winning goal for Manchester City in the second half.

Despite this, Haaland still managed to score 12 goals for Manchester City in 11 appearances. Haaland outscored his rival, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), by 4 goals. Salah finished second in the 2022/23 Champions League top scorer rankings with 8 goals.

Haaland also thanked his teammates for their hard work in securing the victory for Man City. The young Norwegian striker once again topped the Champions League scoring charts, following his first achievement in 2020/21 where he scored 10 goals for Borussia Dortmund.

Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain) came in third with a total of 7 goals, as did Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, also with 7 goals.
