Household expenditure on cherry and regular tomatoes in Aceh Tenggara Regency in 2023 was Rp698.28 per capita per week. This figure is lower than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp1,097.02 per capita per week.

The five largest household expenditure items for vegetables in Aceh Tenggara Regency, in descending order, were red chilies (Rp2,336.88 per capita per week), garlic (Rp2,130.01 per capita per week), chili peppers (Rp1,688.76 per capita per week), shallots (Rp807.2 per capita per week), and the lowest expenditure was for sour vegetable/lodeh (package) at Rp2.46 per capita per week.

Per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, divided by the number of household members. This expenditure can be categorized into two parts: food and non-food needs.
