The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 1.93 percent. This is a decrease compared to last week's figure of 2.14 percent (data as of Sunday, April 2, 2023).
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 24.6 percent are Fakfak, Muna, East Manggarai, Kotabaru, and West Pasaman, with values of 100 percent, 52.5 percent, 37.5 percent, 25 percent, and 24.6 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in three regencies/cities, while 19 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Muna, and East Manggarai, with BORs of 100 percent, 52.5 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
