Several districts/cities in Bali province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Buleleng, Bangli, and Karangasem regencies.
As of Wednesday, January 26, 2022, these three regencies had only completed 1.02 million doses of the first vaccine shot out of the targeted 1.2 million vaccine recipients.
Buleleng Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region has completed 82.4% of its vaccination program. This is the lowest rate among the nine other districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 615,180 recipients. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 3,302 recipients. The available vaccine stock is 38,915 doses.
Next is Bangli Regency, which has the second-lowest vaccination rate. With a vaccination target of 205,250 recipients, the actual vaccination rate has reached 84.1%, or 172,530 recipients. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 431 recipients. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 11,188 doses.
Karangasem Regency is ranked third. With a vaccination target of 379,920 recipients, the actual vaccination rate has reached 88.7%, or 336,820 recipients. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 847 recipients. The available vaccine stock is 20,830 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Bali has reached 114.41%, covering 3.9 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 99.84%, covering 3.4 million vaccine recipients.
