The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least three regencies/cities have a weekly Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 9.37 percent. This is an increase compared to last week's figure of 9.05 percent (data as of Sunday, November 27, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 52.99 percent, are Fakfak, East Belitung, Tana Tidung, Batang, and Tegal City, with values of 100 percent, 100 percent, 61.22 percent, 56.92 percent, and 52.99 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside of Java. A higher daily BOR than the previous day was recorded in 94 regencies/cities, while 78 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, East Belitung, and Tana Tidung, with BORs of 100 percent, 100 percent, and 61.22 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
