The top five, starting from the highest, are Pasuruan, Kudus, Pati, Malang City, and Serang, with respective weekly test figures of 996, 987, 981, 969, and 960 people per week.
Pasuruan ranks first, with 996 tests per week conducted in the last week. The latest positive rate is 0.7 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Kudus. This region has a population of 893,350. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, 987 tests per week were conducted last week. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, a decrease compared to the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, Covid-19 tests in Pati last week totaled 981 per week, Malang City recorded 969 tests per week, and Serang recorded 960 tests per week.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 86 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of daily tests last week compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, 297 other regencies/cities recorded a lower number of tests last week compared to the previous week.
