The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded an average weekly inpatient utilization rate in North Sulawesi of 3.07 patients, data updated as of Friday, October 14, 2022. This figure is higher than the national average, which currently stands at 1.37 patients per 100,000 population/week.
Tomohon City ranks first with the highest weekly inpatient utilization rate at 7.24 patients per 100,000 population/week. The weekly inpatient utilization rate in this city shows no improvement, having increased compared to the previous week's figure of 5.43 patients per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition is observed in Manado City, which recorded a weekly inpatient utilization rate of 5.99 patients per 100,000 population/week. This also shows an increase compared to the previous week's 4.84 patients per 100,000 population/week. Following is Sangihe Islands, another city in North Sulawesi province, recording a weekly inpatient utilization rate of 3.02 patients per 100,000 population/week.
Minahasa Selatan and Minahasa Utara follow with weekly inpatient utilization rates of 1.41 patients per 100,000 population/week and 0.49 patients per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average weekly inpatient utilization rate across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week's figure of 1.31 patients per 100,000 population/week.
