West Jakarta has the highest number of manufacturing companies, with 597. North Jakarta follows with 439 companies.
East Jakarta has 372 manufacturing companies, while South Jakarta and Central Jakarta have 113 and 107, respectively.
According to the Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI), the ready-made garment industry dominates other manufacturing sectors, with 221 companies (13.57%). This industry is concentrated in West Jakarta, with 87 companies (39.37%).
Next is the food industry with 212 companies (13.02%), most of which (87 companies or 41.0%) are located in North Jakarta.
The rubber, rubber goods, and plastic industry comprises 185 companies (11.36%), with the majority (116 companies or 62.7%) in West Jakarta. The printing and recording media reproduction industry has 158 companies (9.71%), with the highest concentration (52 companies or 32.91%) in West Jakarta.
The metal goods (excluding machinery and equipment) industry has 113 companies (6.94%), with the largest number (37 companies or 32.74%) located in West Jakarta.
The chemical industry has 111 companies (6.82%), with the highest concentration (40 companies or 36.03%) in East Jakarta. Finally, 628 companies (38.57%) belong to other manufacturing industry groups.
