The top five, starting with the highest number of people tested per week, are Magelang (993 people), Tanah Bumbu (984 people), Mataram City (978 people), Ciamis (976 people), and Tanjung Pinang City (972 people).
Magelang ranks first, with 993 people tested per week. The latest positive rate is 0.4 percent, an increase compared to the previous week.
Next is Tanah Bumbu, with a population of 407,700. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, 984 people were tested per week. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, a decrease compared to the previous week.
Following this is Mataram City, with a population of 527,540, recording 978 Covid-19 tests per week. Ciamis recorded 976 tests per week, and Tanjung Pinang City recorded 972 tests per week.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 88 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of people tested daily compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, 297 other regencies/cities recorded a lower number of people tested compared to the previous week.
