Several districts/cities in Central Java Province still record a relatively low second-dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Tegal Regency, Pemalang Regency, and Rembang Regency.
As of today, in implementing the vaccination program, these three regions have only completed 1.93 million doses for the second dose vaccination out of the expected target of 2.89 million vaccine recipients.
Tegal Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region has reached 64.55%. This is the lowest figure compared to the other 35 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 84.14%, or 1.93 million vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 1.23 million participants. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination rate last week in Tegal was 3,462 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 50,175 doses.
Next is Pemalang Regency. For the second-dose vaccination, this region ranks second lowest. With a vaccination target of 1.15 million participants, 68.15% or 782,250 participants have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 83.86%, or 1.86 million vaccine recipients. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination rate last week in Pemalang was 3,055 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 25,890 doses.
Another is Rembang Regency, ranked third. With a vaccination target of 512,600 participants, 69.27% or 355,100 participants have received the second dose. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination rate last week in Rembang was 1,172 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 12,263 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in Central Java has reached 84.4%, or 27.02 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 74.73%, covering 23.92 million vaccine recipients.
