Weekly Rice and Rice Product Expenditure of Pontianak City Residents

The average expenditure of people in Pontianak City for purchasing other grains in 2023 was Rp28.58 per capita per week. This figure is lower than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp48.49 per capita per week.

The five largest expenditures of residents for the grain group in Pontianak City, from the highest to the lowest, are: superior quality rice (Rp15,610 per capita per week), wheat flour (Rp547.67 per capita per week), corn in the husk (Rp440.51 per capita per week), shelled corn/corn grits (Rp152.39 per capita per week), and other grains (Rp28.58 per capita per week).

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, including purchases, gifts, and self-produced goods, divided by the number of household members.
