Several districts/cities in Bengkulu province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Kepahiang Regency, Rejang Lebong Regency, and Seluma Regency.
As of Thursday, January 20, 2022, these three regencies had only completed 362,050 first doses of the vaccine, out of a target of 497,780 vaccine recipients.
Kepahiang Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region has completed 72.5% of its vaccination program. This is the lowest rate among the 10 other districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 118,090 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this area was 727 participants. The available vaccine stock is 17,422 doses.
Next is Rejang Lebong Regency, which has the second-lowest vaccination rate. With a target of 217,860 vaccine recipients, vaccination in this region has reached 72.7%, or 158,290 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this area was 1,194 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 63,896 doses.
Following is Seluma Regency, ranked third. With a target of 161,830 vaccine recipients, vaccination in this region has reached 73%, or 118,190 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this area was 1,551 participants. The available vaccine stock is 7,974 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Bengkulu has reached 82.63%, covering 1.28 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 52.07%, covering 809,050 vaccine recipients.
