The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.39 percent. This average is up compared to last week's 2.32 percent, data as of Sunday, January 29, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 33.33 percent are Fakfak, Bima, Muna, East Manggarai, and West Pasaman, with values of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, 52.5 percent, 37.5 percent, and 33.33 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than before was recorded in 37 regencies/cities, while 13 regencies/cities recorded lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Bima, and Muna, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
