This testing achievement data is calculated based on the number of people tested compared to each region's weekly target, subsequently reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest, are Berau, Tarakan City, Manokwari, Bontang City, and West Jakarta City, with percentages of 923.53 percent, 882.33 percent, 865.71 percent, 724.18 percent, and 714.74 percent, respectively.
Berau ranks first. With a population of 236,590, the weekly percentage of people tested is 923.53 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.23 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Tarakan City. The region's population is 267,270. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly percentage of people tested is 882.33 percent. The positive rate in this region is 0.09 percent, also down from the previous week's ratio.
Following this, Manokwari recorded 865.71 percent testing, Bontang City 724.18 percent, and the weekly percentage of people tested in West Jakarta City was 714.74 percent.
In anticipation of the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on a national Covid data recapitulation, 227 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher weekly percentage of people tested compared to the previous period. Meanwhile, 152 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly percentage of people tested compared to the previous week.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to continue reducing Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
