The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 183 districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 5.94 percent (data as of Sunday, December 11, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 36.17 percent are Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (54.55 percent), Aceh Barat Daya (50 percent), Konawe Kepulauan (40 percent), Malinau (39.13 percent), and Parigi Moutong (36.17 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 132 districts/cities, while 158 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (54.55 percent), Aceh Barat Daya (50 percent), and Konawe Kepulauan (40 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
