Compared to other regions in Central Sulawesi, the regency experienced the highest growth in vaccination implementation over the past week. This growth is driven by the local government's efforts to catch up on the vaccination program, which is still below the provincial average. Currently, the first dose vaccination coverage in Banggai Laut Regency has only reached 22.74%, while the average for regencies/cities in the province is above 29.31%.
According to daily data released by the Ministry of Health, the weekly average vaccination in this region is 279 doses. This figure is below the average for regencies/cities in Central Sulawesi. With an available vaccine stock of 11,400 doses, it is estimated that the vaccine in Banggai Laut Regency will run out in the next 41 days.
Regarding provincial-level vaccination coverage, the total first dose vaccination in Central Sulawesi has reached 28.74 percent, covering 613,880 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 16.67 percent, covering 356,130 vaccine recipients.
