The number of people in North Sumatra who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 6.93 million.

As of Friday, December 3, 2021, North Sumatra Province has achieved a 60.65% vaccination rate for the first dose, covering 6.93 million people out of a target of 11.42 million. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 42.75% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 71,060 people. For the first dose, 71,060 people were vaccinated (136.26% of the target), and for the second dose, 92,300 people were vaccinated (129.89% of the target).

For public sector workers, the target was 879,800 people. The first dose vaccination reached 1.27 million people (144.14% of the target), and the second dose reached 1.16 million people (131.36% of the target).

For the elderly, the target was 1.09 million people. The first dose was administered to 513,240 people (46.94% of the target), while the second dose reached 372,570 people (34.07% of the target).

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 7.79 million people. The first dose was administered to 3.69 million people (48.06% of the target), while the second dose reached 2.33 million people (30.42% of the target).

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 1.59 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.3 million people (82.23% of the target), while the second dose reached 891,920 people (56.21% of the target).
