The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 131 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 3.05 percent as of Friday, November 18, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest tracing rates, exceeding 23 percent, are Lombok Barat (25 percent), Metro City (24.67 percent), Tasikmalaya (24 percent), Simalungun (24 percent), and Lombok Timur (23 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most districts/cities outside Java. A higher-than-previous daily tracing rate was recorded in 39 districts/cities, while 23 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat (25 percent), Metro City (24.67 percent), and Simalungun (24 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
