The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 125 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 3.03 percent as of Monday, September 5, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with figures exceeding 20 percent are Metro City, Semarang City, Semarang Regency, Demak Regency, and Cianjur Regency, with values of 30.75 percent, 20.41 percent, 20.41 percent, 20.41 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 19 regencies/cities, while 28 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing figures.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Metro City, Balikpapan City, and Serdang Bedagai Regency, with tracing figures of 30.75 percent, 20 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
