Several districts/cities in Central Sulawesi province still record quite low vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Toli Toli Regency, Poso Regency, and Banggai Islands Regency.
As of Tuesday, January 11, 2022, these three regencies had only completed 281,290 doses of the first vaccine shot out of the targeted 422,980 vaccine recipients.
Toli Toli Regency is ranked first in terms of lowest vaccination rate. As of yesterday, this region has completed 66% of its vaccination program. This is the lowest rate compared to the other 13 districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 158,150 participants.
Next is Poso Regency, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 179,210 participants, vaccination in this region has reached 66.6%, or 119,310 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 1,932 participants. The available vaccine stock is 75,157 doses.
Following is Banggai Islands Regency, ranked third lowest. With a vaccination target of 85,615 participants, vaccination in this region has reached 67.3%, or 57,588 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 1,118 participants. The available vaccine stock is 28,616 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Central Sulawesi has reached 73.56%, covering 1,570,000 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 39.55%, covering 844,760 vaccine recipients.
