As of Thursday, December 23, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in North Maluku province has reached 52.03 percent. This figure is equivalent to 737,670 vaccine recipients out of a target of 1.42 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 25.32 percent of the target as of yesterday.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 14,260 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 14,260 people (113.37 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 100.88 percent or 14,380 people were vaccinated.

For public service personnel, the target is 174,710 people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 130,220 people (74.54 percent of the target), and the second dose has reached 56.21 percent, or 98,200 people.

For the elderly, the target is 127,310 people. For the first dose, it has been given to 46,950 people (36.88 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 17.39 percent has been achieved, or 22,140 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target is 885,530 people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly been given to 421,570 people (47.65 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 19.17 percent has been achieved, or 169,410 people.
