Bireuen Regency Has the Lowest Second Dose Vaccination Rate in Aceh

Several districts/cities in Aceh province still record quite low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Bireuen Regency, North Aceh Regency, and South Aceh Regency.

As of yesterday, in the vaccination program, these three regencies had only completed 661,030 second doses out of the expected target of 976,250 vaccine recipients.

Bireuen Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region has recorded 67.58% for the second dose vaccination. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 23 districts/cities. As for the first dose, 94.95% has been achieved as of yesterday, or 561,200 vaccine recipients.

The vaccination program in this regency targets 333,000 participants.

Next is North Aceh Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this region is second lowest. With a target of 458,610 vaccine recipients, 67.59% or 310,000 recipients have been successfully vaccinated.

The first dose achievement is recorded at 93.06%, or 772,910 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in North Aceh was 2,170 recipients. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 40,980 doses.

Another is South Aceh Regency, ranked third. With a target of 184,650 vaccine recipients, 68.24% or 126,010 recipients have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in South Aceh was 1,150 recipients. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 17,420 doses.

Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Aceh has reached 99.79%, or 4,020,000 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination is recorded at 74.54%, reaching 3,000,000 vaccine recipients.
