Temanggung is the regency with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases, at 4.05 per 100,000 population/week. The number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in this regency has not improved, showing an increase compared to the previous week, which recorded 0.63 per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition occurred in Magelang City, which recorded 2.46 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week. In this regency, the number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which was only 0.82 per 100,000 population/week. Surakarta City follows, recording 1.54 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week in Central Java Province.
Purworejo and Wonosobo are next, with recorded weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases of 1.39 and 1.26 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases across the 34 provinces is now showing a decrease compared to the previous week, which was 0.59 per 100,000 population/week.
