Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National Rate of First Dose COVID-19 Vaccination for Elderly Residents Based on ID Cards (Tuesday, March 8, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 293 regencies/cities have a first-dose elderly KTP vaccination percentage above the national average, currently recorded at 68.53 percent as of Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

The top five regencies/cities with first-dose elderly KTP vaccination rates exceeding 117.41 percent are Sukabumi (121.68 percent), Aceh Singkil (121.25 percent), Serang (119.56 percent), Lingga (118.3 percent), and Solok City (117.41 percent).

A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that first-dose elderly KTP vaccination in most regencies/cities outside Java is increasing. A daily increase in first-dose elderly KTP vaccination compared to previous figures was recorded in 304 regencies/cities, while four regencies/cities recorded lower first-dose elderly KTP vaccination rates.

Areas outside Java with the highest first-dose elderly KTP vaccination rates include Aceh Singkil (121.25 percent), Lingga (118.3 percent), and Solok City (117.41 percent).

The government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
