The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.08 percent. This is down from 2.14 percent last week, according to data from Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 41.74 percent are Fakfak, Bima, Muna, Balangan, and Rokan Hilir, with values of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, 52.5 percent, 50 percent, and 41.74 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 19 regencies/cities, while 40 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Bima, and Muna, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
