The number of people in Central Java who have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has reached 26.95 million.

As of today, Sunday, July 10, 2022, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Java Province has reached 93.81 percent. This figure is equivalent to 26.95 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 28.73 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 83.07 percent of the target as of yesterday.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 164,920 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 164,920 people (148.1 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 145.78 percent or 240,420 people were vaccinated.

Public sector workers have a target of 2.21 million people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 2.22 million people (100.22 percent of the target), and the second dose has reached 93.54 percent, or 2.07 million people.

The elderly target group numbers 3.68 million people. For the first dose, 2.99 million people have been vaccinated (81.33 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 68.16 percent, or 2.51 million people.

The vulnerable general public target is 19.3 million people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly reached 15.05 million people (78.18 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 68.41 percent, or 13.17 million people.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. The target in this region is 3.37 million people. For the first dose, 3.28 million people have been vaccinated (97.18 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 89.95 percent, or 3.03 million people.
