This figure is equivalent to 12.35 million vaccine recipients out of the targeted 8.4 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 120.39 percent of the target.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 112,300 participants. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 112,300 people (161.24 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 155.56 percent or 125,590 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 1.98 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.32 million people (117.19 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 102.12 percent, or 2.02 million people.
The elderly target was 761,280 people. For the first dose, 793,730 people were vaccinated (104.26 percent of the target). The second dose reached 94.61 percent, or 720,220 people.
The target for vulnerable members of the general public was 4.54 million people. For the first dose, 6.84 million people were vaccinated (155.73 percent of the target). The second dose reached 126.39 percent, or 5.52 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 1 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.19 million people (119.4 percent of the target). The second dose reached 101.5 percent, or 1.02 million people.
