The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 91 districts/cities with weekly inpatient utilization above the national average, currently recorded at 1.71 patients per 100,000 population/week, data as of Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest inpatient utilization, exceeding 7.94 patients per 100,000 population/week, are Kediri City, Toli Toli, Madiun City, Palu City, and Majene, with respective values of 18.78 patients per 100,000 population/week, 9.55 patients per 100,000 population/week, 9.53 patients per 100,000 population/week, 9.13 patients per 100,000 population/week, and 7.94 patients per 100,000 population/week.
A national Covid data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that inpatient utilization in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A higher than previous daily inpatient utilization was recorded in 26 districts/cities, while 43 districts/cities recorded lower inpatient utilization.
Areas outside Java with the highest inpatient utilization include Toli Toli, Palu City, and Majene, with respective inpatient utilization rates of 9.55 patients per 100,000 population/week, 9.13 patients per 100,000 population/week, and 7.94 patients per 100,000 population/week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
