BPS: 407 Restaurants in the Megamendung Area Meet Business Eligibility Standards

Puncak, Bogor Regency, has been renowned for its natural beauty and cool climate since the Dutch colonial era. Many villas and holiday resorts were built in the area.

The Puncak area is not only a tourist destination; people now also enjoy seeking out favorite restaurants there. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Megamendung District has 407 restaurants that meet business eligibility standards. This is the highest number compared to other districts along the Puncak Pass route.

Next, Cisarua District has 331 restaurants meeting business eligibility standards, followed by Ciawi District with 172 restaurants. Sukaraja District has 110 restaurants, and Babakan Madang District has 27.

In total, Bogor Regency has 2,493 restaurants that meet business eligibility standards. Over 1,000 of these restaurants are located in the Puncak area. The highest number is in Cibinong District, with 667 restaurants.

According to the Bogor Regency Culture and Tourism Agency, the number of tourists visiting accommodations in Bogor Regency reached 4.56 million people. This includes 4.48 million domestic tourists and 76,292 international tourists.
