Several districts/cities in West Sumatra Province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Padang Pariaman Regency, Agam Regency, and Pasaman Regency.
As of yesterday's data, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 377,050 second doses out of the expected target of 1,010,000 vaccine recipients.
Padang Pariaman Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 35.4%. This is the lowest compared to the other 19 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 75.75%, or 382,660 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 342,590 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Padang Pariaman last week was 2,799 participants. The current vaccine stock is 43,914 doses.
Next is Agam Regency. For the second dose, this area ranks second lowest. With a target of 432,030 vaccine recipients, only 37.65% or 162,680 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 70.54%, or 471,050 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Agam last week was 2,577 participants. The current vaccine stock is 48,704 doses.
Lastly, Pasaman Regency is ranked third. With a target of 235,260 vaccine recipients, only 39.57% or 93,088 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Pasaman last week was 1,199 participants. The current vaccine stock is 40,108 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in West Sumatra has reached 83.78%, or 3,690,000 vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 52.11%, covering 2,300,000 vaccine recipients.
