94.51% of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has been achieved in Riau Islands.

As of Wednesday, December 22, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Riau Islands Province reached 94.51%. This equates to 1.49 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 1.58 million people. The second dose vaccination coverage reached 76.92% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 14,120 recipients. For the first dose, 14,120 people were vaccinated (145.31% of the target), and for the second dose, 141.02% or 19,910 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target was 128,890 people. The first dose vaccination reached 409,450 people (317.67% of the target), and the second dose reached 280.25% or 361,230 people.

For the elderly, the target was 87,130 people. The first dose was administered to 67,030 people (76.94% of the target). The second dose reached 59.71% or 52,020 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.14 million people. The first dose was administered to 787,720 people (69.27% of the target). The second dose reached 53.51% or 607,780 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 207,660 people. The first dose was administered to 204,850 people (98.64% of the target). The second dose reached 82.31% or 170,940 people.
