List of Countries with the World's Strongest Passports in 2022: Where Does Indonesia Rank?

The American tax and immigration consulting firm, Nomad Capitalist, published the Nomad Passport Index 2022, ranking 199 countries with the world's strongest passports.

Unlike many passport ranking indices that focus solely on visa-free travel, the Nomad Passport Index 2022 also considers several other factors, such as taxation, global perception of the country, ease of obtaining dual citizenship, and personal freedom.

Luxembourg was crowned the country with the world's strongest passport. According to the Nomad Passport Index 2022, the country achieved the highest score, namely 115.5.

Indonesia ranked 126th with a score of 47.5. The strength of the Indonesian passport is equivalent to two countries in Africa, namely Uganda and Tunisia.

The strength of the Indonesian passport is significantly lower than that of neighboring countries, such as Singapore, which is in the top 10, with a score of 113.
