The Ministry of Health reports that 68.85 million doses of booster vaccines have been administered in Indonesia as of Sunday, June 4, 2023. This figure represents 37.92 percent of the national Covid-19 vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. Yesterday's national data recorded a single dose increase in Covid-19 booster vaccinations.
West Java remains the province with the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationwide, totaling 15.49 million doses. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of Covid-19 booster vaccine recipients, with 1.59 million doses. This is followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million), Bekasi City (980,720), Bekasi Regency (968,250), Cianjur Regency (912,950), and Bandung City (899,400).
East Java is second with 9.41 million doses. Within East Java, Surabaya City has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, with 1.31 million doses.
Central Java is in third place with 8.6 million booster vaccine doses administered. This is followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten with 5.36 million, 4.2 million, and 3 million doses respectively.
