The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 148 districts/cities with a tracing rate (ratio of close contacts/confirmed cases/week) above the national average, currently recorded at 4.81 percent (data as of Sunday, March 13, 2022). The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 24.57 percent are Lombok Barat (37.36 percent), Sampang (33.8 percent), Lombok Timur (26.5 percent), Pacitan (24.75 percent), and Lamongan (24.57 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java is increasing. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in 92 districts/cities, while 80 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat (37.36 percent), Lombok Timur (26.5 percent), and Metro City (22.08 percent).
The government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
