Compared to other regions in Riau, the regency experienced the highest growth in vaccination implementation over the past week. This growth was driven by the local government's efforts to catch up on the vaccination program, which is still below the provincial average. Currently, the first dose vaccination coverage in Bengkalis Regency has only reached 41.04%, while the average for regencies/cities in the province is above 42.12%.
According to daily data released by the Ministry of Health, the weekly average vaccination in this region is 3,918 doses. This figure is above the average for regencies/cities in Riau. With a vaccine stock of 55,080 doses, it is estimated that the vaccine in Bengkalis Regency will run out within the next 14 days.
Regarding provincial-level vaccination achievements, the total first dose vaccination in Riau has reached 44.5 percent, covering 2.15 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 29.12 percent, covering 1.41 million vaccine recipients.
