The number of people in Banten who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 3.64 million.

As of Saturday, September 18, 2021, 39.47 percent of the target population in Banten province has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 3.64 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 9.23 million people. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 22.29 percent of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 45,570 individuals. For the first dose, 45,570 people were vaccinated (147.2 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 131.6 percent of the target was achieved, or 59,970 individuals.

For public sector workers, the target was 456,150 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 1.1 million individuals (240.61 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 119.76 percent of the target, or 546,270 individuals.

For the elderly, the target was 643,610 individuals. For the first dose, 150,500 individuals received the vaccine (23.38 percent of the target). The second dose reached 17.52 percent of the target, or 112,790 individuals.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 6.88 million individuals. For the first dose, 2.06 million individuals received the vaccine (30.74 percent of the target). The second dose reached 17.6 percent of the target, or 1.16 million individuals.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 1.21 million individuals. For the first dose, 213,720 individuals received the vaccine (17.71 percent of the target). The second dose reached 10.6 percent of the target, or 127,920 individuals.
