The Indonesian Ministry of Health reported that 68.66 million doses of booster vaccines had been administered in Indonesia as of Monday, April 10, 2023. This figure represents 37.82 percent of the national COVID-19 vaccination target. The national COVID-19 vaccination target is recorded at 234.66 million doses. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the daily increase in COVID-19 booster vaccinations yesterday nationwide was recorded at 737 doses.
Based on provinces, West Java still holds the top position with the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationally, reaching 15.47 million doses. Bogor Regency has the highest number of residents in West Java who have received the COVID-19 booster vaccine, with 1.59 million doses. This is followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million doses), Bekasi City (979,630 doses), Bekasi Regency (967,560 doses), Cianjur Regency (912,500 doses), and Bandung City (897,210 doses).
Next is East Java, which is in second place. In this region, the number of booster vaccines administered is recorded at 9.37 million doses. Surabaya City has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients in this province, namely 1.31 million doses.
Central Java is in third place with 8.56 million booster vaccine doses administered. This is followed by DKI Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten, with 5.35 million, 4.2 million, and 2.99 million booster vaccine recipients, respectively.
